What’s Included When You Book The Venue

At The Grand 1401, even with a basic venue rental, we go beyond simply handing over the keys. Here’s what’s automatically included in your booking:

Layout Design

We work with you to create the perfect layout for your event, whether it’s for a wedding, corporate event, or special celebration.

Security Coordination

We hire and manage security for your event to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely.

Event Host

An event host is provided to oversee building-related needs, such as unlocking doors, adjusting AC or lighting, and ensuring restroom accessibility (more on what an event host does below).

Consultations

We offer consultations to help you design and plan your event. Whether you need ideas or logistical advice, we’re here to support your vision.

Vendor Coordination

We can provide quotes from our trusted, reputable vendors, making it easier for you to source quality services.

Table & Chair Setup

Our team will set up tables and chairs according to your layout preferences, allowing you to focus on other details of your event.

Additional Services & Packages

If you need more than just the venue, we offer packages that can include additional services. These services are not included in the standard rental but can be easily added based on your needs:

The Role of Your Event Host

The event host is one of the key services provided with your booking. They are your primary point of contact for anything related to the building during your event, including:

Opening and Closing Access

Event hosts unlock doors for vendors and clients and manage access throughout the event.

AC & Lighting Adjustments

If you need changes to the building’s air conditioning or lighting, your event host will handle it.

Restroom Maintenance

They ensure ADA-accessible restrooms are available and fully stocked throughout the event.

Security Management

Your event host oversees the security team, ensuring they are in the right locations and fulfilling their duties.

It’s important to note that the event host is NOT a day-of coordinator. Their role is strictly related to managing the venue itself. They do not assist with moving items, changing layouts, or cleaning the event space. Additionally, they do not handle trash removal.

 

In cases of breaches of contract or disorderly conduct, the event host has the authority to shut down the event after consulting with the event manager. Some examples of this include but are not limited to: 

  • Underage drinking 
  • Guests acting hostile towards event staff or security
  • Guests fighting with each other
